Privacy policy

Plainly, what we collect and why.

Who we are

Croft ("we", "us") operates this website at croft.so. You can reach us any time at [email protected]. This policy covers this website. The Croft product has its own terms agreed with each customer.

What we collect on this site

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics and DataFast to understand how the site is used: pages visited, rough location, device type, and how you found us. These tools set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy policies.
  • Attribution. We keep a small first-party record in your browser (localStorage and cookies named croft_attribution, croft_attr, and croft_vid) of how you first arrived, your most recent source, and the pages you visited here. It contains an anonymous id, not your name or email. It lives in your browser for up to 180 days, and comes to us only if you book a demo, so we know which channel brought you.
  • Demo bookings. The booking calendar on our demo page is provided by zcal. When you book, the details you enter (name, email, and anything you write) go to zcal and to us. zcal processes them under its own privacy policy.
  • Email. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence.

What we do with it

We use this data to respond to you, to run demos you book, and to understand which channels bring visitors who become customers. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services named above.

Your choices and rights

You can clear the attribution record at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: email [email protected] and we will sort it out.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Meaningful changes will be called out, not buried.
